She then went on to University of Arizona, where as a pitcher and first baseman she played three times All-American. In 2001, when her Wildcats team won the title of National Champion In 2002, she was awarded the National Championship title. she won the Honda Award for the best softballer of the nation. Wounded Warrior (WWAST's) mission is to raise awareness about the resilience and sacrifices of our troops through softball exhibitions. The goal of the team is to showcase to other amputees how these athletes, through intensive rehabilitation and training, can be able to play and show the sports they love.
